Residential Solar Design and Build
We design, supply, and build home solar systems as an engineering service. Usable power when the grid drops, and less daytime draw when it is up. For houses and villas on 230V / 50Hz.
Who it is for
The grid is there, and it cuts. The house already has a generator and the owner wants fewer run-hours. The supply is weak, or the site is on its own. A grid-tied array with no storage usually stops in an outage. Backup has to be designed in.
System options
Hybrid first: solar, battery, and the grid, with automatic changeover and a defined set of circuits that stay on. Backup-first: a smaller array, storage sized to hours of essential load, generator start only if the battery falls to a set point. Off-grid or generator-hybrid: where the grid is absent or not worth relying on.
What we design and supply
Modules and mounting for heat, dust, and the roof or ground. An inverter for 230V / 50Hz and the motors the house actually runs. Battery capacity from the load list. Protection, earthing, and cable sizing. Optional critical-load board. Monitoring the owner can read. Brands are named only when they are the ones that will be supplied. Drawings and an equipment schedule go out before installation starts.
How a project runs
Start a project with the address, a recent bill if you have one, and which loads must stay on. Then a site survey of roof or ground, structure, shading, the existing board, generator, cable routes, and battery ventilation. Then a design and proposal. You approve before we buy. Then build, commission with a planned outage test and a short handover, then aftercare.
Built for heat, dust, and a weak grid
We derate for high ambient temperature. Inverters and batteries are not designed into sealed hot rooms. If a generator stays, it is interlocked so it cannot backfeed the grid or fight the inverter. Essential loads are listed with the owner. Not the whole house unless the survey supports it.
